Portfolio / Business Manager Appointed

Alpha Fund Managers has appointed a new Business Manager - Matthew Zschech MMst, MCert PM, SDIAM as the Portfolio / Business Manager. Matthew's responsibilities will include overall business management, investment manager selection, sales, monitoring and administration.

Matthew has had over 6 years of experience in the global financial markets and over 15 years experience working within a global corporate environment across Australia, Asia Pacific and Global geographies. Matthew has gained exposure in Contracts, Due Diligence and Corporate Business Operations both globally and locally, across the Banking, Finance and Insurance, Resource / Energy, Airlines and Government sectors.

This significant business exposure has given Matthew a unique understanding of company analysis, management teams and corporate valuations. This has resulted in a significant depth and breadth of experience within the corporate realm and business analysis. Matthew has graduated with a Masters Degree in Management, a Post Graduate Diploma in Technology Management, and a Masters Certificate in Project Management. Matthew is RG146 compliant in Derivatives, Securities and Funds Management and is also a member of the Securities and Derivatives Industry Association - Australia.

Matthew Zschech, as advisor / director and cofounder formed a securities and derivatives firm in 2003; launching service offerings in international markets for clients across Australia, United States, Europe and Asia Pacific in both wholesale managed accounts & securities products. In 2007 Matthew Zschech launched a funds management firm, creating a Hedge Fund, based out of Chicago, USA. Matthew Zschech experience was pivotal part of the funds management and trading team and is a professional international equity / derivatives trader, focusing on funds management strategy, trading tactics, tools and process.

Matthew brings invaluable experience and structure to a repeatable and successful funds management and trading methodology, which are cornerstones of the firms trading philosophy. Matthew has sold his interest in these firms, to take up the challenging role of Business Manager for Alpha Fund Managers, driving it to the next level in the future.
